Marvin A. Mueller, Asleep in Jesus on Saturday, July 4, 2009. Beloved Husband of Linda S. Mueller (nee Holtz). Dear Dad of Tim A. (Susan) Mueller; Grand-father of Nicholas, Christopher and Samantha Mueller; brother of Marilyn (L. Robert) Schoenecker, Kenneth (Marcia) Mueller, brother-in-law of Edward (Mary) Holtz. Uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many. A graduate of Lutheran H.S. and Princeton Univ. with an MBA from SIU, Marvin was the consummate servant leader. An Eagle Scout and former Rotary Club member, Marvin served on the Boards of Greater St. Louis Health Foundation, Boys & Girls Town, Lutheran Family and Children's Services, Lutheran Senior Services and the St. Louis Nat. Charity Horse Show Assoc. Marvin was also proud to serve on the Wild-wood City Council. He was a Trust Officer with Boatman's, Commerce, and Bank of Sullivan from where he recently retired. Marvin had taught business classes in at SIU Edwardsville and at East Central College. With his banking career behind him, Marvin enjoyed working as a Pharmacy Technician with Walgreens. Marvin was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ellisville. He never met a stranger and was always willing to share his deep faith, a joke or to lend a hand.
