Brown, Marvin L. "Brownie" entered into rest on Wed., May 20, 2015 at age 96. Beloved husband and best friend of Thelma E. Brown (nee Sellers) for over 74 years. Beloved father of Jerry (Linda LaRue) Brown. Dear grandfather of Michelle (Phillip) Hamilton and Evan (Katie) Brown. Dear great grandfather of Cassidy L. Brown, Kendall Z. Hutchison, Duncan A. Brown, Maxwell K. Hamilton, Finnegan A. Brown and Wyatt C. Brown. Dear brother-in-law of Kenneth D. (Mary Lou) Sellers. Dear uncle, great-uncle and friend to many. Marvin was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and Meridian Masonic Lodge #2. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or Zion UMC are appreciated. Marvin was one of the "Greatest Generation," serving as Corporal in the U. S. Army during World War II. Services: Funeral Sat. 11:00 am at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 7027 Gravois (63116).
