Breitenfeld, Marvin C. asleep in Jesus on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at age 86. Beloved husband and best friend for 57 years of Helen J. Breitenfeld (nee Bowles), oldest son of Karl and Dora (nee Frentzel) Breitenfeld, beloved father of Jan Todd and Michael Carter. Dear grandfather of Leigh, Katy and Sam. Dear great-grandfather of Breanna, Mikayla, Alex, Evan, Zoey and Adiann. Dear brother of Pearl (Herman) Niehaus, Howard (Jackie), Richard (Judy), and Robert (Karen) Breitenfeld. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Marv was a 50 year member of Peace Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school there for 50 years and 4 years prior at Emmaus Lutheran Church. He was proud of being a Sergeant in the U. S. Marines during the Korean War. Marv was a member of the Mehlville Optimist Club for over 50 years. He was President of the Centerville Cemetery Assn. for 15 years and Director and Officer of the Reynolds County Fair from 1978 to 2008. He owned and operated B-Z Sales, Inc. from 1960 to 1989 and Big B Farm in Centerville, MO from 1957 to 2014. Services: Visitation Sunday 1~8 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129). Visitation Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracks View Rd. (63125) from 9:30 am to the funeral service at 10:30 am Monday.
