Marietta Griswold

Marietta Griswold, 88, of Arnold, MO died on December 30, 2024. She was married to Clair Griswold for 54 years before his death in 2008. 

She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Michael (Pat) Griswold. She was a loving mother to Greg (Patra) Griswold, Melea (David) Genthon, and David (Connie) Griswold; loving grandmother to Lauren Genthon, Ryan (Ashley) Griswold, Nick (Beth) Genthon, Ben (Tra) Griswold, Christie (Chris) Swacil, Julie (Scott) Sondermann, Kate Griswold, Jake (Mary) Genthon, Kelly Griswold; great grandmother to Julian Swacil, David Griswold, Louisa Swacil, Emily Griswold, Finn Griswold, Iris Swacil, Daisy Sondermann, Joel Genthon, Mabel Genthon, Liam Griswold, Greta Sondermann; dear sister to Robert (Dalana) Yows of Lake of the Ozarks; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was a member of the Arnold Elks Lodge and a DMAAC retiree.

Visitation will be held at John L. Ziegenhein on January 8, 2025 from 9:00-10:15 am. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed the Jefferson County Library.  In honor of Marietta family would like memorial donations to be made to the Jefferson County Library- Arnold branch.
