Margie Sonnleitner

Sonnleitner, Margie A. (nee Scearce), passed on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 92 years of age. Loving wife for 61 years to Gene Sonnleitner; dear mother of Barbara "Bobbi" (Don) Baumstark; grandmother to Paige and Grant Baumstark. She is survived by a sister, Iris (Dean) Dull of Holden Beach, NC; dear sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Margie was born and raised in North Carolina, came to St. Louis in the mid 1940's, met Gene and they married in 1951. She was a homemaker, mother and had a career in retail sales until her retirement. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated. A memorial visitation to celebrate Margie's life will be held Sunday, 3-6 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd., (63129). Services conclude at the funeral home.
