January 29, 1915 — June 10, 2013

Pranschke, Margaret M. fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Monday, June 10, 2013. Margaret was preceded in death by her late husbands Leonard F. Pranschke (married 9 yrs), Paul J. Nauert, Sr, (married 30 yrs), and Earl Karcher (married 11 yrs). Beloved mother of Virginia (Don) Kaemmerer, Margaret (Pat) Reynolds, Mary (Jim) Abkemeier, and Paul (Sue) Nauert, cherished grandma of 12and great-grandma to 15. In addition, Margaret enjoyed gathering Leonard's three children and their families around her holiday tables. Margaret worked in retail and accounting, then moved on to run her own businesses that included a cookie shop on Cherokee Street and a retail bakery at Soulard Market. She loved playing pinochle, swimming, rowing, and ballroom dancing. In retirement she took up square dancing, serving as treasurer of Ladies' Mainstream until 2013, when she hung up her dancing shoes for the last time. Margaret's family, friends, and fellow dancers will miss her dearly. Services: Visitation Sun., June 16 from 3 - 8 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry. Funeral Mon., June 17 from the funeral home, 9:00 a.m. to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church, 4900 Ringer Road, for Mass of the Resurrection at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials to Minds' Eye Radio, a reader service for the visually impaired, 9541 Church Circle Dr, Belleville, IL 62223. June 16, 2013
