Lorraine Warren

Warren, Lorraine J. (nee Hurley), 90, of Chesterfield, MO, peacefully passed away on June 10, 2019.   Loving and cherished wife for nearly 65 years to the late Harold L. Warren (Dedoons).  Beloved mother of Gregg Warren, Dr. Joan (Paul Malkin) Warren, and Jan (Warren) Novak.   Beloved grandmother to Todd (Leah) Warren, Kara Warren (Jody Siemer), Lindsey (Marty) Quint, Mallory (Marcos) Petroli, Celeste Malkin, and Kyle P. Novak; loving great grandmother of 10; a dear sister, aunt, cousin, great aunt, and friend to many.

Lorraine had a lifetime career as a 5th grade school teacher in the Mehlville School District which she truly enjoyed, calling her classroom children her “Moppits”.  After retirement Lorraine loved, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, in addition to attending her book club, bridge club, and Lifelong Learning courses at Washington University.

Her greatest joy was reading, education, and continued learning which she emphasized the importance of to her children, and grandchildren.  She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking around with people who would make her laugh.

A Celebration of Lorraine’s Life will be held at The Shack Restaurant, 14810 Clayton Rd, Chesterfield MO, on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 4:30-8:30 PM.  Interment private.
