Carna, Lewis F. Jr. "Lew" entered into rest on Friday, September 6, 2013 at age 89. Beloved husband for 38 years of Judy Carna (nee Freiermuth). Dear father of Susan Mattingly. Dear brother of the late Dorothy Laacke and Blanche Brigance. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, great-great uncle and friend to many. Lew was a 57 year member of the Southside Lions and a member of Gardenville-Cache Lodge #455, A.F. & A. M., Scottish Rite and the Moolah Shrine. Lew owned Carna Studio on Virginia Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Southside Lions, Shriner's Hospital or charity of donor's choice are appreciated. Services: Visitation Sunday 3 - 9 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry R. (63129). Lions Rose Service Sunday 7:00 pm followed by Masonic Services. Funeral Monday 10:30 am at the funeral home.
