Dear wife of the late Theodore Horton; dear mother of Jean (Richard) Holmes and Peggy Morehouse; grandmother of Kenneth (Patty) Morehouse and Sandra (Donald) Moser; great grandmother of Renee (Ryan) Erby, Tiffany and Ted Morehouse; dear aunt of Richard Scheid and Carol (Kevin) O'Shea; great aunt of Ryan and Eric O'Shea; dear sister of the late Minerva Scheid. LaVerne will be sadly missed by family and loved ones. Services: Visitation Friday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, 63129, with funeral beginning at 12:30 PM. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials to American Cancer Society are appreciated.
