Winter, Kermit L. Passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at the age of 102. Devoted husband of the late Marie; father of Sharon (the late David) Coppay and Susan (Carl Sr.) Zerna; grandad of Susan (Ed) Bray, Kevin (Kristi) Exler, Keith (Sue) Exler, Carl (Sarah Slover) Zerna Jr., and Arlene Hartman; great-grandad of Katie (Mark) Janssen, Kandyce (Allan Scott) Exler, Katlynd (Brian) Picerno, Rusty Bray, Krystal, Kami, and Kodi Exler, Julia Lappe, Zack, Travis, Megan Sue, and Troy Zerna, Zachary Fricke, Shawn Hartman, and the late Carl Zerna III; great-great-grandad of Noah, Graeson, Mason, Ethan, Travion, Kaden, and Gavin; dear uncle, cousin, and friend. Kermit was the owner of K.L. Winter, where he designed and built special automated machinery, and patent owner of the squeegee sharpener used in the silk screen industry. Longtime member of the St. Louis chapter of NTMA and member of Carondelet U.C.C. His motto was, "Live, Love, and Laugh". Services: Monday, 10:00 a.m., at the chapel of JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 7027 Gravois Avenue (63116). Interment at St. Matthew Cemetery. VISITATION: SUNDAY, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. October 4, 2015
