Knobbe, Kenneth W. Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. Ken was born September 3, 1932 and died suddenly on Sunday morning, August 10, 2014 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Patricia (Clancy) for 58 years and father of Mary (Tim) Puricelli, Ken (Judy) Knobbe, Stephen (Gail) Knobbe, Margaret (Mike) Noll, Joan (Tony) Pozzo and Mike (Amy) Knobbe. Cherished grandfather of Deanne (Justin) Mueller and Karen Puricelli; Jennifer (Mark) Stirnemann, Nicholas and Corinne Knobbe; Andrew, Todd, Claire and Keith Knobbe; Brad Quentin; Evan, Emily, Grace, Maggie, Sophie and Zachary Pozzo; Ben, Lilly, Gianna, Poppy and Zeke Knobbe. Dear son of the late Anthony and Anna Knobbe. Dear brother of Leonard (Helen) Knobbe, Lois (Gene) Feicht, Joyce (the late Vern) Knobbe and the late Jackie (Tom) Beckerle. Ken proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was an accomplished carpenter and member of the Carpenter Local 97 (formerly Local 5), for over 60 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Queen of All Saints Parish, active in Boy Scout Troop 500 and Troop 800, involved with St. Vincent DePaul, Monastery of St. Clare and many other organizations. A husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, godfather, cousin, friend and role model who helped so many through his giving spirit, kind words and his constant help on whatever project was needed. He is loved and will be missed. Services: Visitation Tuesday, 3-9 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129). Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:00 am at Queen of All Saints, 6603 Christopher Dr. (63129). Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul or Monastery of St. Clare. August 12, 2014
