It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Keith W. Turner, age 64, on May 12, 2024. A passionate fan of baseball and hockey, Keith’s enthusiasm for the St. Louis Blues and the Cardinals was unmatched. His love for the games was only rivaled by his joy in playing cribbage and poker, where he was both a formidable opponent and a gracious companion.
Born on May 3, 1960, to his devoted parents, the late William E. and MaryEllen Turner (nee Kuelker), Keith grew up in a family that cherished the simple pleasures of life. He was proceeded in death by his brothers, Claud J. and Patrick J. Turner.
Keith’s memory will be forever held in the hearts of his cherished siblings: Linda L. (Mike) Collins, Kathleen M. Souders, Tom (Kathleen M.) Turner, and David Allen Turner. His spirit lives on through the many stories and laughter he shared with his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, cousins and many friends who will miss his presence dearly.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Keith’s life will be held at 12pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel, on Saturday, May 18, followed by a memorial service at 3pm. Please feel free to wear your Blues and Cardinals jerseys.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Unity Hospice Foundation, a cause close to Keith’s heart.
Keith’s life was a symphony of love, laughter, and music, and while he may have taken his final bow, the echoes of his life’s song will resonate forever in our hearts. Keith’s legacy is not just in the memories we hold but in the love he spread and the lives he touched. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
