Kathleen Bierman

Bierman, Kathleen, of St. Louis, Missouri, was born to Harold E. and Catherine C. (née Neumann) Jinkerson and went to rest with Jesus Saturday, February 4, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her nephew Matt.

She is survived by, her beloved husband of 47 years, Larry Bierman, her cherished children, Laura Ann and Mark (Susan) Georgeff, her adored grandchildren, Andrew (Phoebe) Georgeff and Elise (Paul) Sturrup, her dear sister and brother, Patricia (Warren) Duff and Michael (Peggy) Jinkerson, her dear nieces and nephews, Christopher (Kelly) Borsa, Brian (Cari) Borsa, Jared Jinkerson, Scott (Missy) Bierman, Nikki (Geoff) Bierman, her dear in-laws, Dave (Dorothy) Bierman, Dan (Barb) Bierman, and Dianne (John) Bierman, great aunt of Lane (David) Gonzalez, Tony Borsa, Libbi Borsa, Timothy Borsa, and Nicco Borsa, and many friends.

Kathy was a devote Catholic and graduate from Notre Dame Highschool. She was a philanthropist at multiple charities. She volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul, the World Bird Sanctuary, and would wolf-sit at the Endangered Wolf Center. Kathy had an open heart for all animals. She was a long-time employee at Grant’s Farm in operations. She was an excellent party planner and matchmaker. Kathy loved to travel and had many travel adventures in her lifetime. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial donations may be made to Emmaus Homes, Inc or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Services: Family and friends to gather from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 12, 2023, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129. Mass at 10am, Monday, February 13, 2023, at Assumption Catholic Church, 4725 Mattis Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
