Kate Harrell

Harrell, Kate (nee Handley) good and faithful servant, passed from this life on Monday, May 28, 2012 at age 82. Beloved wife for 50 years of Roy G. Harrell, Sr.; beloved mother of R. Glenn (Darla) Harrell, Jr.; loving grandmother of Emily Pearl and Cody Wyatt Harrell. Dear sister of Dora (the late Levie) Essary and the late Gladys (Fate) Watt, Sam (Esther) Handley, Lillie (Paul) McCulough, Robert (Jeffrie) Handley and Cloyd (Nettie) Handley. Dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and dear friend to many. Kate was a 50 year active member of St. Luke's UMC where she always taught Sunday School and taught the Faith Matters adult class for over 22 years. Services: Family & friends will gather to celebrate Kate's life on Thursday, May 31, for a 5:00 pm Memorial Service at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 2761 Telegraph Rd. (63125) followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Kate's church or the Shriners Hospital for Children would be appreciated. (Arrangements by John L.
