June Sievers

June Marie Sievers, nee Fischer, 96, joined loved ones in heaven the 25th day of August 2022, daughter of the late George E.  and the late Marie L., nee Scharf, Sievers, loving wife and best friend of over 74 years to William A. Sievers, dear mother of Thomas R. (the late Joann) Sievers, cherished grandmother of; the late Matt Sievers, Julie (John) Turner, and Zack (Jessi) Sievers, cherished great grandmother of; Kaylee, Garrett, and Aubree Turner, and William Sievers, and beloved sister of Ron (Pat) Fischer. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.

June was a member of St. Paul’s UCC, in Oakville, and a former member at St. Stephens UCC, in Baden, MO. She was known for her charitable heart supporting, among many others, the Emmaus Home, Lydia’s House, Feed My People, Evangelical Children’s Home, and making hats for cancer patients. She and her husband in their younger years loved to dance, travel the world, and enjoyed a good theme party. She was the quintessential grandmother who enjoyed sewing and baking.  June was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Memorials are appreciated to Feed My People or the Evangelical Children’s Home aka Every Child’s Hope .

Visitation will be from 4pm – 6pm on Thursday September 1, 2022, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 5508 Telegraph Road, Oakville, MO 63129. Memorial services will begin at 6pm at the church.
