Heil, Judith Lynn “Judy”, of Fenton, Missouri, was born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania to Richard and Marilyn (nee Harris) Provance and entered into rest Sunday, November 13, 2022, in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and four (4) siblings lost at birth, her brother, Richard Provance.
She is survived by, her loving husband of 22 years, John R. Heil, Jr., two (2) dear children, Jeana (Patti Newsome) Albers and Mathew (Annie Nottleman) Albers, two (2) stepchildren, Andrew (Heather) Heil and Christopher Heil, four (4) cherished grandchildren, Logan & Tyson, Ryan & Kennedy, four (4) brothers, Guy (Christy), Randall (Mary), Curtis (Kathy) and Christopher (Nancy), sister-in-law, Karen Provance, former husband of 25 years, Roger A. Albers, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
Judy began Deaconess School of Nursing and graduated in 1968. During her tenure on the Acute Rehabilitation Floor for 35 years, she held many positions: Staff Nurse, Assistant Head Nurse, and Head Nurse. In 1999, she acquired her Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) degree, a coveted degree. In 2001, she began working for Delmar Gardens. Judy retired after 40 years of nursing in 2005. She would like to say, “And then the fun began”. Her days were filled with Bridge, Canasta, Mah-Jongg and Pinocle, lunch dates with her daughter and friends, committees at church and choir, and The Red Hats club. She enjoyed traveling to many countries and throughout the United States. She especially enjoyed being with her husband, many family members on the holidays and with her beloved Quigley at their lake place in Indian Hills, Cuba, Missouri. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Concord Trinity Methodist Church, The Humane Society, or a Charity of your Choice.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Concord Trinity Methodist Church, 5275 Lindbergh Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63126.
