Judith O'Connor

O'Connor, Judith Kay. Born in Chester, Illinois, and longtime resident of Arnold, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2018 at age 79. She was married to Jerry for 55 years. Judith was key to her husband's success as a high school football coach and principal. She also touched many lives as a high school special education aide. Judith raised four strong and grateful children & was cherished by twelve grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping and planning the annual family beach trips. She was the center of her family, and held them together from many miles apart. Beloved wife of Gerald O'Connor; loving mother of Mike O'Connor, Anne (Greg) Symes, Joan (Greg) Welsh, and Christine (Tony) Simokaitis; dearest grandmother of Stuart, Emily, Ellie, Sarah, Garett, Maureen, Colin, Katie, Bella, Anthony, Sami, and Max; dear sister, cousin and friend. Services: Visitation will be held at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129) on Thursday, (5/3/18) from 4 to 8pm. Funeral Mass at St. David Catholic Church (Arnold) on Friday, (5/4/18) at 10am. Service concludes at church with reception immediately following. May 03, 2018
