Judith N. “Judy” (née Harris) Bruegger
Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the age of 83. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bruegger; parents, Euland “Tom” and Sylvia (nee Wodecker) Harris, and her sisters, LaRita (surviving Art) Hovis, Jeannine (the late Harold) Sullentrup, and Marilyn Harris. Judy is survived by her brother, Wayne (Suzanne) Harris; her children, LaRita Heet, Christopher Bruegger, John (Sandi) Bruegger, Kathryn Richardson, and Mary (Roger) Young; her grandchildren, Alexandra and Sarah Heet; LaRita, Grayson, and Caris Moore; Ashley (Kameron) Stupavsky; Madison, Skylar, Jameson, Piper, and Jackson Bruegger; Samantha (William Best), Michaela, Ella, Lorelei, and Tessa Weidman, and Gabriel Hofmann; and Sylvia, Benjamin, and Gabriella Young; her great-grandchildren, Logan Williams and Emmitt, Amelia, and Eleanor Stupavsky; dear friends, Mary Voss and Suzanne Aulik; other relatives; and friends.
Judy’s pride and joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She’d tell everyone she met that she had 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Until the end, she could easily name each and every one of them, along with their birthdates. Judy was also a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Special thanks to the loving staffs at St. Andrew’s at Francis Place and at Solace Hospice Care.
