Bennett, Judith A., 79 of High Ridge, Missouri, was born in Affton, Missouri to Edward H. and Teresa (Bacher) Jokerst and entered into rest Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Gerald Jokerst and her son-in-law, Dennis M. Fisher.
She is survived by, two (2) children, Donna (George) Messmer and Denise Fisher, six (6) grandchildren, George Messmer, Jennifer Messmer, Joshua (Brittany) Fisher, Jared (Katelyn) Messmer, Eric Fisher and Zach Fisher, five (5) great grandchildren, Amber Messmer, Vanessa Keys, Ava Messmer, Braiden Messmer and Damian Messmer, four (4) siblings, Jim (Cheryl) Jokerst, Janice Burnett, John (Joyce) Jokerst and Jean (Lynn) Gambill, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Judith was dedicated to her family and her church. She enjoyed every minute she was able to spend with her family. Some of her favorite things to do with them was camping, swimming, sightseeing, traveling, visiting antique malls and flee markets. Judith was a member of the Blue Army of Fatima. She volunteered at St. Anthony of Padua’s Food Pantry for 10 years, was a member of their choir, worked at church picnics as well as the fish fry’s. She participated in Pro-Life marches in Jefferson City, Missouri as well as Washington, DC and was involved in many Rosary marches. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 7027 Gravois Avenue (63116). Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua, 3009 High Ridge Blvd. (63049). Internment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to American Cancer Society, 4215 Lindell Blvd, St. Louis MO 63108.
