Joyce Clark

Joyce E. (Garr) Clark, 90, passed with peace and grace with her 4 daughters at her side on August 24, 2020. Wife of the late John Clark; mother of Connie (Dave) Brawley, Linda (Chester) Kowalewski, Diana (Tod) Mapes and Kathy (Chuck) Hembrees; Grandmother to 12; Grandma Great to 22; Grandma Joyce to countless others.

She graduated from Fontbonne University. She taught home economics for the Affton School district. She was an active church member and volunteered in many church programs such as Sunday School and MOPS. She also volunteered in a grade school reading program. Joyce will be remembered for her passion working with children, caring for others, being a genuine friend to many and being a faithful follower of Jesus. Services: Due to safety concerns, a private memorial service for family will be held August 29, 2020.
