SULZ, JOSEPH SEVERIN Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, July 5, 2012. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Sulz (nee Smid); dear father of Daniel (Mara) and Stephen (Judy) Sulz; dear grandfather of Joshua, Amanda, Laine and Luca Sulz; dear brother of Vlasta Bartova; dear brother-inlaw, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Left Czechoslovakia in l948, became a merchant marine to gain passage to the U.S. Settled in St. Louis and fell in love with Mary Ann. Became involved in the Czech community. He acted in plays, sang, coached soccer enjoyed beer, laughter, and printing the newsletter, He was a dreamer, and always questioned the status quo. Member of Sokol St. Louis and Lodge Missouri #1. Donations to St. John Nepomuk, Sokol St. Louis or the American-Czech Center would be appreciated. Funeral Wednesday 9:15 AM from JOHN L.
