Joseph Frank Luna Sr., age 90 of Desloge, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the NHC Care Center in Desloge. He was born on October 22, 1922 in Floresville, Texas, a son of Fernando and Mary (Flores) Luna. On December 29, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri he was united in marriage to Loretta M. Nies, she preceded him in death on October 7, 2012; his parents and sister - Connie Frias also precede him. He is survived by two sons - Thomas (Brenda) Williams of Macomb, Michigan and Joseph Luna Jr. of Desloge; three daughters - Nancy (Larry) Cooke of St. Louis, Sharon Luna of St. Louis and Bea (Bruce) Davis of Marthasville, Missouri; sister - Bea Luna of Redmon, Washington; 15 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Luna was a United States Army Veteran; he was general foreman for the McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company in St. Louis and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fredericktown. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown with Prayer Service at 12:30 and visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday at Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home on 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. in St. Louis. Visitation will also be from 9:30-10:30 a.m., on Friday, February 22, 2012 at the St. Matthias Catholic Church in St. Louis. Mass of Resurecution will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, February 22, 2012 at St. Matthias Catholic Church with Father Dennis Port officiating. Interment will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St, Louis with full military honor's under the direction of the Missouri National Guard.
