John Schubert

March 18, 1951 — May 18, 2020

John's family held a small, private memorial service in their home with just immediate family present with their pastor.

John Fred Schubert was born March 18, 1951 and passed away May 18, 2020, at 69 years and 2 months.

John is survived by his wife of 46 years Brenda Kay Schubert (nee Aldridge), Rebecca (Anthony) Smith, David (Nicole) Schubert, two grand-kids Jacob and Ava Schubert, sisters Joan (Fran) Struckholf, Ruth (Brian) Narx, a brother Gary (Brenda) Schubert, brother in law Glen (Joanne) Aldridge, and the late Gary Aldridge. He is preceded in death by his parents Grover Schubert and Arline Rayfield, his sister Sharon (Robert) Francis and his wife's parents Lester & W. Myna Aldridge. John was a loving uncle, cousin and friend to many.

John had a strong belief in God and was baptized at St. Trinity Lutheran Church. John will be remembered for his passion of watching baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. He was not a complainer and lived his life without worries. When he retired from Olin/Global Brass & Copper, John devoted his life to his wife, Brenda, his kids, grand-kids and family. He was a hard working man who took care of his family. John will be remembered by many for his sense of humor and kindness.

He will fondly be remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. WE LOVE YOU JOHN!

Remember Me
Don't remember me with sadness,
Don't remember me with tears,
Remember all the laughter,
We've shared throughout the years.
Now I am contented
That my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way
I made somebody smile.
When you are walking down the street,
And you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind.
So please don't be unhappy
Just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I'm with you
Each morning, noon, and night.
