John S. Kriszt

John S. Kriszt passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 23, 2024, at the age of 71. John was born Tuesday July 22, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri to parents the late Edward J. and the late Audrey (Mehee) Kriszt. 

He is survived by his loving wife Candida Kriszt (Hernandez); daughters Maria Kriszt and Tokina Ayeshah Kerri; stepdaughters Sonia Loza, Daysi Van Dyke, and Rosita Loza; stepsons Jamen and Luis Seises, Freddy Hernandez, and Isaias Loza; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and many friends. 

When a person like John passes away his death leaves deep grief in the hearts of his family and loved ones. Losing someone as dear and special as John is heartbreaking for many. He was one of the best examples of a husband, a dad, and a friend.

To have such a great love for people, family or not, was one of his greatest qualities. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, no questions asked. He touched so many lives and if you ask anyone that knew him, they will say he was always cool and a good sport. He truly was an angel on Earth, a rare and precious soul, who will leave a void in the many hearts who valued his friendship and guidance.

We will honor his memory on February 6, 2024, at 4-8pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel 7027 Gravois Avenue 63116. 

In lieu of flowers John's family appreciates memorials for John to be donated to the Purple Heart Association Military Order of the Purple Heart.
