John Gasparotto

Passed away on the 29th of December 2021, at the age of 96. Son of Primo Gasparotto and Ritta (nee Pinamonte) Gasparotto, husband of Jacqueline (nee Kreitz) Gasparotto, father of Jane Erickson, grandfather of Emily (Adam) Brackman and the late Daniel Erickson, Guardian of his beloved dog Barney, and friend to many.

John will be remembered serving proudly in World War II. He received three bronze stars and a blue whistle award presented by Charles de Gaulle for his service in the battle of the bulge and the invasion of Normandy. He was a member of Rollo-Calcaterra American Legion Post No.15. He was blessed to have many lifelong friends and will be missed by many.

Services: 10 am committal service on Tuesday, January 4th, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125. Family to gather at Jefferson Barracks office lot at 9:30am.
