On Wednesday December 19th, 2018 John Scott Beulick (age 55), loving husband and adoring father passed away after courageously fighting a three year battle with melanoma. He maintained his positive outlook and sense of humor throughout the fight. Beloved husband of 29 years to Marsha Beulick (nee Powell); loving father of Nicholas Powell Beulick and Elaine Teresa Beulick; cherished son of Suzanne (Miller) Beulick and the late Nicholas V. Beulick Jr.; dear brother of Kim Evans (Kevin) and Teri Eckert (Joe); dear brother-in-law of Bob Powell (Bendi) and Gary Powell (Diane); uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend of many. John was born on March 8, 1963 in St. Louis, MO. He attended De Smet Jesuit High School where he graduated in 1981. He earned an electrical engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1985, and a law degree from Saint Louis University in 1988. John began his career as a patent attorney at General Electric before returning to St. Louis to work for Armstrong Teasdale LLP in 1995. Most recently, he served as managing partner of the firm and chairman of the Executive Committee. He has been recognized as a leading intellectual property lawyer by Chambers USA every year since 2013. John loved the outdoors, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout while growing up. He specifically loved the water and shared his passion for boating with family and friends. He enjoyed coaching his children's sports teams and motivated his family in everything they did. He was a member of Concord Trinity United Methodist Church and spent much time at Sunset Country Club playing golf. John was a passionate Oklahoma Sooners fan, frequently heard chanting Boomer Sooner! He never knew a stranger and was extremely generous to everyone he met. Memorial Service: Concord Trinity United Methodist Church on December 22 at 2pm with reception following.
