Joanne Scoby

Joanne Scoby, 83, passed away January 4, 2022. Daughter of the late Frank and the late Mary, nee Carson, Power, mother of the late Ronald Benear, John Benear, Barbara (Theodore) Hooss and Molly Scoby, grandmother of Noah Hooss, Josh Butler, and Skylar Butler, sister of the late Delores (the late Virgil) Vonder Harr, Mary Patricia (the late Lester) Boswell, the late Frank (Deborah) Power, Kathleen (the late David) Marcee, and the late Gerald (Becky) Power. She leaves behind many dear relatives and friends.

Joanne was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time and going out with family and friends. She was always able to have a great time and enjoy life no matter what life’s circumstances are and taught her family to do the same. She was a devout Catholic who attended Mass weekly and was a former member of St. George Catholic Church.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022, John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, South City Chapel, 7027 Garvois Ave.
