Joan Scharafinski

SCHARAFINSKI, JOAN R. (nee Rein) died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the age of 79.. Beloved wife of the late Robert Scharafinski; dear mother of Cynthia S. Ahlheim (Russell) and Robert M. Scharafinski and a friend to many. Joan loved raising her kids and working at Maritz, from where she retired in 2000 after 25 years. She enjoyed cooking, a nice cold frosty beverage with her friends at the Bungalow and rooting for the Cardinals. Mama Joan will be missed by many. Services: The family will have a celebration of her life on Saturday, October 11th, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois. Please wear your Cardinals or Rams gear for the celebration. Donations in Joan's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Stroke Foundation. October 11, 2014
