Joan Krueger

Joan M. (nee Mayer) Krueger Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the age of 90.

Joan loved reading, enjoyed summer evenings at the Muny along with traveling in her retirement years.  She was an avid dog lover and was passionate about education.  She worked for many years at Washington University as a secretary in the Department of Otolaryngology.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband Edward F. Krueger; parents Benedict & Loretta (nee Schwab) Mayer; and her sister LaVerne Mayer.

Joan was a devoted mother of Daniel G. Krueger, Diane M. (Craig) Richter and Linda A. (John) Gasperoni; cherished grandmother Nicole (Chris) Skor, Danielle (Andrew) Spink, Jacqueline Krueger, Michael (Audrie) Richter, Steven Richeter, Katie Richter, Anthony (Sarah) Gasperoni and Joseph Gasperoni; great-grandmother of Lucas, Adelyn, Milaloni, Brayden and Dominic; dear aunt to David Mayer.

PRIVATE SERVICE (11/30/2022.)  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Humane Society of Missouri or Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
