86, Baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Monday, August 12, 2019. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernard M. Schoemehl; children Mary (Nancy Mattli) Schoemehl, Michael (Karen) Schoemehl, Barbara (Charles Shepard) Butcher, Thomas (Melanie) Schoemehl, and Richard (Jan) Schoemehl; grandchildren Cathy Schoemehl, Samantha (Andrew) Schmidt, Emma (Matthew) Cookson, Will Butcher, Brendan Schoemehl, Erin Schoemehl, Angie Schoemehl, Justin (Stephanie) Schoemehl, and Christan Schoemehl; great grandchildren Ethan, Myles, and Lorenzo; siblings Adrienne Dvorak and Paul (Carol) Strautmann; siblings in law Lois Schoemehl and Jim Schoemehl; and many other family members and friends.
Jeanette spent over 40 years as a nurse at St. Anthony’s Medical Center. She is remembered as being a very active member of St. Stephen Protomartyr and enjoyed volunteering for the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry. She will be greatly missed. Memorial donations in Jeanette’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home (7027 Gravois) on Saturday, August 17th, from 8:30am until prayers at 10:15am, leaving John L. Ziegenhein & Sons for 11am Mass at St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
