Spooner, Janis "Jan" M. (nee Conley) Passed away on August 26, 2017. Beloved wife of 61 years to Rev. Dr. David T. Spooner; loving mother of Jenni (the late Tony) Zolman, Julie (Gary) Werner, and the late Dr. Jeffrey (Dr. Pam) Spooner; dear grandmother of Jodi (Mike) Litvinov, Kate (Pawel) Zurkowski, Emily Spooner, and Ellen Spooner; dear great-grandmother of Mia and Maci Litvinov; dear sister of her twin brother, Dr. James (June) Conley and the late Richard (Ruth Ann) Conley; dear aunt, cousin, and friend. Jan was born in Toledo, OH, graduated from Fostoria, Ohio High School, and Notre Dame College. She was a teacher and a corporate executive's assistant at General American Life Service: A Remembrance Service will be conducted at St. Johns Evangelical United Church of Christ, 11333 St. Johns Church Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123, on Sunday, September 10th, at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Johns Evangelical United Church of Christ Crossing Fund or the charity of your choice.
