Petrovic, James M. “Jim” entered into rest on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at age 70. Beloved husband of Linda K. Petrovic (nee Young) for 22 years.Beloved father and father-in-law of Lisa (Christopher) Hetley, Marcus Petrovic, Jared (Leslie) Petrovic, Tyler (Julie) Sloan, Ethan (Fiance Katie) Sloan and Shauna Sloan. Loving grandfather of Aten Hetley, Raine Hetley, Evan Sloan, and Ben Alsup. Dear son of the late Martin and Lorraine Petrovic. Dear brother of Laverne (Bob) Murdick, Bill (Anita) Petrovic, Mary (Greg) Markowski, Frank (Jill) Petrovic, Sue (late Joe) Spedale, Jack (Penny) Petrovic and Jean (Jeff) Siudzinski. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Jim retired from Metal Container Corporation in 2015 after 35+ years of service. He was an active member of the First Unity Church of St. Louis. Jim loved playing drums and harmonica and was passionate about building and running trains, 1/8 th actual size. He was a Geode Hunter and a friend of Bill W.

Services: Visitation Wednesday, January 29 at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County) 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129) from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Visitation Thursday, January 30 at First Unity Church of St. Louis, 4753 Butler Hill Road, St. Louis, MO (63128) from 9:00 am to the time of funeral services at 10:00 am Thursday. Interment J. B. National Cemetery.
