James Meyer

MEYER, JAMES EDWARD of Mehlville, Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at age 86. Beloved son of the late Carl F. and Erna L. Meyer; loving husband of Rose Mary Meyer (nee Traynor); cherished father of Kathryn Salter (James) and Kendon C. Meyer; devoted grandfather of Daniel, Tyler and Emily Salter. Jim served in the United States Air Force, stationed in Vermont, where he met his future wife. They were married over 61 years. Jim graduated from Mark Twain Elementary, Beaumont High School and Harris Teacher's College. He received his Master's Degree from Washington University. Jim was a teacher in St. Louis City and Lindbergh School District. Memorial service April 11, 2:00 p.m., Calvary Presbyterian Church, 3400 Lemay Ferry Road. In honor of Jim's memory, gifts may be given to Calvary Presbyterian Church or DeGreeff Hospice House. April 11, 2015
