James "Jim" Vincent Syron

James V. Syron passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 50 years to Teresa “Terry” Syron, nee Kettler; cherished father to Kristine (Kevin) Forbes and loving grandfather to Kayla and Melanie Forbes and Lauren (Ryan) Hoyer; dear brother to the late John Syron, the late Michael Syron, Eileen (Rick) Korb, Kevin (Teresa) Syron, and Virginia Syron; son of the late Vincent and the late Virginia Syron. Jim is also survived by many friends and other family.

Jim retired from Welsch Heating & Cooling and was a member of Teamsters Local 682. Jim was also a member of the early morning Crestwood Park Walkers. Jim loved the beach and in his free time, Jim enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and gardening everything from vegetables and herbs to flowers. Jim’s favorite job was spending time with his granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Missouri Botanical Gardens or of the donor’s choice.

Visitation to be held Tuesday June 6, 2023, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis MO, 63129 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with prayers promptly starting at 7:00.
