James Heisner, Sr.

Heisner, James E., Sr. Baptized into the hope of Christ's Resurrection on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Beloved husband of Patricia A. Heisner (nee Varney); dear father of Jody (Greg Schaab) Brown, James (Jeanne) Heisner, Jr., Roy Lee Heisner, Randy (Toni King) Heisner, and Penny (Frank Favazza) Hampton; dear grandfather of 15, and great-grandfather of 14. Brother of Rosalia Sroka, dear brother-in-law of Eutola Heisner and Esther Heisner. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. James was born in Pinckneyville, Illinois. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Upon leaving the service, he moved to St. Louis joining the IBEW Local #1 in January 1956 and has been a member for 56 years. James was a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or a charity of donor's choice. SERVICES: Funeral from John L. Ziegenhein & Sons 7027 Gravois Ave. (63116) Wednesday, 10:15 AM. to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 AM Interment: With Full Military Honors, Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
