He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Gosch and his wife Beverly, and Jennifer Beving and her husband Reed. Mr. Gosch is a native of St. Louis, MO and he served in the U.S. Army from 1948 - 1950, and 1960 - 1963. He was a member and served as the Exalted Ruler of The BPOE #978 in Gulfport and was a member of the American Legion. Jim enjoyed painting ceramic Christmas Villages, playing Bingo at the Elks Lodge, and "kabbitzing" with practically everyone he met. The family would like to thank the numerous people who have helped him in his long journey with dementia. The kindness and compassion of total strangers has warmed our hearts and helped Jim maintain a very dignified independence for a much longer time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Alzheimer's research and/or Southern Care Hospice and when you're out driving "keep your speeds below ninety and stay between the white lines."
