James Goodson Jr.

James “Jim” A Goodson Jr. Age 56. 12/7/1966- 04/2/2023

Beloved son of Nancy (Bill), nee Frisbee, Thomas, and the late James A. (Nancy Goodson) Goodson Sr, beloved first grandson of the late Emmett and the late Agnes Frisbee and the late James and the late Gwendola Goodson, loving brother of John (Sheri Bommarito) Goodson, stepbrother to Bryan (Linda Girantino) Thomas, and Jeremy (Sheryl) Woods. Dear uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Jim was baptized into the promise of eternal life at St Louis Family Church. He was a kind and compassionate man who would do anything for his family, friends and strangers. He loved living on Baronridge Drive and enjoyed the friendship of special neighbors. Jim loved all things outdoors and couldn’t wait for trips to the river and the beach with great friends.  He was an avid racing fan and enjoyed working with his brother on dirt track racing. Many thanks to all who helped Jim on his journey. He appreciated your care and caring more than you know.  Jim taught us so much about strength, dignity and perseverance. He is loved and missed by many and was greeted in heaven by his Heavenly Father, his Dad and the Frisbee and Goodson families.

Memorials are appreciated in lieu of flowers to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm, Tuesday April 11, 2023, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm also at the funeral home.
