James Easton

Easton, James R. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of 56 years to his high school sweetheart, Barbara (nee Werges); son of Geraldine and the late James C.; dad of Daniel (Vicki), Denise, David (Maureen), Dennis (Phyliss), and Donald (Wendy); grandfather of Danielle, Ashleigh, Tanner, Tyler, Christopher, Jedediah, Kathryn, Lyndsey, Justine, Jackalyn, Jennafer, Joseph, Jaimeson, Julleeanna, Joseph, Charles, and Emma; great-grandfather of Rhyan, Payton, Gabriela, and Alejandro; brother of Geraldine, Craig, and Cyndi; and many other family members. James was a proud retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer Hospital Corpsman, starting as an air traffic controller in 1958 and retiring in 1986 as a HMC, having served in many Naval and Marine installations across the world. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Navy Relief Fund, or to the American Cancer Society. Services: Family and friends to gather at JOHN L.
