Jackie Meeks

Edna Jaqueline (Jackie) Meeks left this earth on February 7, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles L. Meeks, dear mother of Debra (Mark) Berrey, late Kelly (Kirk) Nickels, and Caroline (Dave) Stallwitz, dearest sister of the late Nancy (Donald) Keipp, grandma to Nicole, Erica, Reece and Evynn, great grandma to Jack and Adalynn, and beloved aunt, cousin and friend to so many. Jackie graduated from Southeast Missouri State University where she was initiated as a member of Alpha Chi Omega. She went on to a longtime teaching career at Hancock High School; many of her former students attended her retirement celebration. Jackie loved having a good laugh with family and friends and she never met a stranger. She will forever be loved and missed. Services: Visitation Monday, February 18, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 7027 Gravois Ave. (63116). Funeral Tuesday, February 19 at 10:00 am at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 7027 Gravois Ave. (63116). Jackie will be interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery alongside her husband. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association in Jackie's name. Monday February 18, 2018
