Jack A. Mann
Jack A. Mann, 90, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 5, 2020. He was born to parents Charles and Elsa (Tacke) Mann on February 17, 1929 in St. Louis. Jack graduated from Cleveland High School and had a long career with and retired from Laclede Gas. He served in the Army of the Unites States from 1954 to 1962. Jack married Corrine (Smith) Mann on March 8, 1952. They were married for 67 years.
Jack is survived by his wife; Corrine Mann, son Mark Mann, daughter Marcia (Mann) King, grandchildren, Lisa Mann, Steve Mann wife Melissa, Brandon King and Alyssa King, great-grandchildren Chelsea Mann partner Jesse, Katelyn Mann, Gavin Mann, Bryson Mann, Madison Mayo and great-great granddaughter Magnolia Wall. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Elsa, and his brother Charles Mann Jr. and Harold Mann.
Jack Mann never met a stranger. He loved his family and enjoyed playing dart ball, volleyball, softball and in the Senior Olympics. He was a long time member of St. Johns Church UCC. He was a good son, brother, uncle, husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and great-great grandpa and a friend to all! His smile and jokes lit up a room. Forever Resting in God’s Love.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 25th, 2:30 - 3:30pm with his memorial proceeding at 3:30 - 5:00pm at St. Johns Evangelical United Church of Christ in South County. Jack will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association can be made.
