Iris M. Soscia (nee Reynolds), 74, was born on February 13, 1945, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Arthur and Opal (nee Gordon) Reynolds. She entered into rest on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at her residence in St. Louis, Missouri. She is survived by her loving husband, George L. Soscia; daughters Susan Soscia and Cheryl Cassidy; grandsons Ethan, Callahan, and Andrew; sister Opal Stroup; and many other family members and friends. Iris enjoyed Stampin' Up Cardmaking, attending the World's Longest Yard Sale, and being a Body Recall instructor. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a BS in Mathematics in 1967. From 1967 to 2000, her cartography career consisted of working at the Aeronautical Chart & Information Center, Defense Mapping Agency Aerospace Center, and the National Imagery & Mapping Agency. Iris was a volunteer at Oak Hill Presbyterian church as an Elder, Deacon and Youth Group leader. She also served as a volunteer for the Brotherhood of Religious Organizations. She co-founded the Lafayette Square Restoration Committee of St. Louis in 1969. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
