Wife of the late George M. Fischer.

Sister of Gloria Herzog and the late Violet Dodart.

Mother of George J. (Linda) Fischer, the late Robert B. Fischer, and the late Nancy (Rick surviving) Lukasek.

Grandmother of Jeff Fischer, Gregg Lukasek, Ann Elder-Warbin, Gabe Fischer, Melissa Fischer, and Matt Fischer.

Great-grandmother of 13.

Irene was graduated from Roosevelt High School (1943) and Washington University School of Nursing (1947). She retired from Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 1986.
