Herman C. Wilke, Jr. - Age 90, Asleep in Jesus March 25, 2013. Beloved husband of 65 years to Beverly Wilke. Beloved father of Dave (Ellen) and Dale (Connie) Wilke. Dear grandfather of Chloe Wilke. Dear step-grandfather of Krystal Jasso and Kristina Fischer and step-great-grandfather of 5. Dear brother, uncle, cousin and friend to everyone whose lives he touched. Herm was born on April 2, 1922 on a farm in Affton, MO. He was a life long member of Salem Lutheran Church in Affton, and he worked as a Teamster. Upon retirement, he drove the school bus for Salem Lutheran School for many years. Services: The funeral service will be held at Salem Lutheran Church, 8343 Gravois Rd., Affton, MO (63123), on Saturday, March 30 at 11:00 am. Visitation at the church beginning at 9:00 am, Saturday morning. Interment Our Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a gift to the Salem Lutheran Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
