Caplan, Helen D. (nee Smith) on Saturday, October 12, 2013; beloved wife of the late Henry M. Caplan; dear mother of Victoria (David) Ward and Sherry (Abraham) Eshein; dear grandmother of Kara (Michael) King, Adam Eshein and Sara Ward; dear great-grandmother of Faith Squires and Ayden King; dear sister of Gladys Dennington, Alice Schrader, JT (Chin Chinz) Smith, RC (Judy) Smith, Bonnie Smith, EG (Ruth) Smith, Brenda Hoff and the late Joy Kahn, Riley Dennington, LA Smith and Raymond Schrader; our dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend. Mrs. Caplan volunteered for the Red Cross for 31 years, the Fox Theatre as an usher for 25 years and the USO. Served as a Election Judge for 25 years. And was a member of Bellefontaine United Methodist Church and the Ladies Bible study for 12 years. Services: Funeral Tuesday 10:00 am at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. VISITATION MONDAY 4-9 PM. October 14, 2013
