Harry Tiggard Jr.
Harry Tiggard Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on August 2, 1943, to the late Harry Tiggard Sr. and Katherine Tiggard, Harry led a life rooted in love, wisdom, and deep generosity.
Fortified in the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Harry is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Helen Tiggard; his children, Kevin Tiggard (Kelly Ahlf), Kelly (Jason) Loring, and Mark (Stacey) Tiggard; and his cherished grandchildren, Meghan and Alison Tiggard, William and Maxwell Loring, and Skylar and Harrison Tiggard. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Kathy (Jim) Buseman, along with nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. Harry was predeceased by his dear sister, Rita (Stan) Luzcak.
Harry’s life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his family and his faith. He was a man of great kindness, wisdom, and compassion. As a husband, father, and grandfather, Harry always put the needs of his loved ones first, offering guidance, encouragement, and a steady hand. Whether it was enjoying the laughter of his grandchildren, sharing sage advice with his children, or offering help to anyone in need, Harry’s love was a constant presence in the lives of all who knew him.
Known as the life of the party, Harry will be deeply missed for his infectious joy, his ability to bring people together, and his warm, compassionate spirit. His legacy of love, generosity, and laughter will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 4th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, located at 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, 10:00 am @ Queen of All Saints, 6603 Christopher Drive, St. Louis, MO 63129. Following Mass inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice.
Harry’s memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
