Harry W. Kuhnert, Sr. of Festus, MO, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of June Kuhnert (nee Jones), dear father of Harry (the late Sue) Kuhnert, Kathleen (David) Todd, JoAnn (Cary) Bushko, Paul (Tracey) Kuhnert, Mark (Renee` Stucky) Kuhnert and the late David Kuhnert, dear grandfather of Andrew (Julie) Kuhnert, Matthew Kuhnert, Melissa (Jonathan) Fallert, Zachary (Jaime) Todd, Jessica (Adam) Stout, Madeline (Grant) Finney, Paul Kuhnert, Charlie Kuhnert, Jason Kearbey, Jodie (Tom) Nutter, Jordan Kuhnert and Hannah Kuhnert, dear great grandfather of 16, dear son of the late Joseph and Mamie Kuhnert, dear brother of LaVerne DeLucia, Geraldine Gliedt, Joseph (Carol) Kuhnert and the late Clarence Kuhnert, Virginia Kellogg, Estelle Moseley, Dorothy Umfleet, Eleanor Kolbow, and Warren Kuhnert, dear brother-in-law, uncle, and dear friend of many. Mr. Kuhnert was born on November 12, 1921 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the American Legion, a member of IBEW Local #1, a long- time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City and a very proud Navy veteran of WWII and Korea. Services: Funeral Monday, February 25, 2019 9:30AM from John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois Ave., 63116 to St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church for 10:00AM Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association would be appreciated February 24, 2019, Sunday
