Harold (Harry) ("H") Benjamin Sykora passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Harry had a long life of 95 years. Beloved husband of 71 years to Sylvia (nee Eagle) Sykora; loving father of Janet Foulk-Liberty, Sherri (Scott) Wedel, and the late Steven Joseph Sykora, dear grandfather of Joseph (Ashley) Foulk and Christine (Jason Fleming) Sykora; great-grandfather to Olivia Fleming and Avery Foulk; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. Harry served in the United States Army from 1943 to 1946 as a Corporal and was awarded two Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a 77 year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 97 (formerly Local 5) since March 27, 1941; a carpenter for May Centers, Inc., Railway Exchange Building for 24 years and a member of the St. Francis de Sales Benevolent Society. Like his late son, Steve, Harry was an amazing craftsman and fisherman. So now that Harry has joined Steve, let us all picture them on the banks of a big river in the sky, with their poles in the water and their eyes on their lines. Take comfort in knowing now that father and son have been reunited, they can get back to what they loved, catching fish and swinging hammers. "Keep on Swinging, Harry!"
