Pletz, Harold W. "Ferd," Entered into rest on Friday, September 16, 2016, age 85. Beloved husband for 49 years to Anne E. Pletz. Beloved father of John (Dawn Martin) Pletz and Jodi (Matt) Foresman. Loving grandfather and "Ferd-Pop" of Hayden, Brendan, Ella and Mason. Dear friend to many. Harold finished his 38 year banking career at St. John's Bank & Trust Co. He is a founding member of the POETS Land Corp., a member of the Mehlville Optimist Club and Concord Trinity United Methodist Church. Harold was a graduate of MIZZOU and life-long Tiger fan. He completed his post graduate work at the University of Virginia. He was very passionate about little league and rarely missed a chance to cheer on his grand kids. He was often recognized by some as the Governor of No. Carolina. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, Mehlville Optimist Club or charity of donor's choice are appreciated. Services: Visitation Monday 3 to 8 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129). Visitation Tuesday at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 So. Lindbergh (63126) from 9 am to funeral service time of 10:00 am Tuesday. Interment J. B. National Cemetery. September 19, 2016
