Glenda Reitz

Glenda L. Reitz (nee Rhodes), 85, passed away on April 5th, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Marjorie (nee Mulvany) Rhodes, brother in law Kenneth Cookerly, and nephew Gary Cookerly. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James W. Reitz, daughter Melissa (Michael) Barnes, three grandchildren, Molly (Ryan) Wolfsberger, Michael Barnes II, and Mallory (Brad) Trower, 4 great grandchildren, Michael, Jillian, Weston, and Nolan, sister Gloria Cookerly, niece Lauren (Larry) Galenski, nephew Robert (Jill) Cookerly, and friends the Schneider family. Glenda enjoyed reading history novels and is remembered as being someone who loved to spend time with her family. Memorials donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 6-8pm and a funeral service will be held the following day on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 10am, both at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, Missouri 63116. Interment Bellerive Gardens Cemetery. Tuesday, April 9, 2019
