Kromat, Gertrude F. (nee Gloeckle) Granted final rest on Tuesday February 2, 2016. Wife of the late Gerhard Kromat. Beloved mother of Gary (Janet) Kromat and the late Diana Helton & Charlene Gomez. Loving grandma to Stephanie, Nathan, Jason, Rebecca, Nicole, Jessica and their families; great grandmother to Katherine; dear aunt of Ken (Joyce) Rothenberg & Keith (Julie) Rothenberg and family. Gertrude worked at Lake Forest Bakery in Clayton for 57 years. She was a past president of American Legion Post 300 and a longtime member of St. John United Church of Christ. SERVICE: Funeral service Friday 9:45am at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. VISITATION THURSDAY 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
